Section 101.68(B) of the Revised Code requires that when reports must be submitted to the General Assembly, copies of the reports must be submitted to the Director of the Legislative Service Commission (LSC). Section 101.68(C) requires LSC to monthly inform each member of the General Assembly of the reports received. Below is the annotated bibliography of reports recently submitted to LSC. The bibliography, compiled by the LSC Library staff, also includes other documents that may be of interest to legislators. SCHOOL STORM SHELTER STUDY REPORT TO THE 133RD OHIO GENERAL ASSEMBLY, December 2019, 9 pages
Report required by Section 287.90 of H.B. 166, 133rd General Assembly; OFCC directed to study appropriate requirements for building school storm shelters; reviews building standards and cost implementation for OFCC projects; updates the status of the legislative storm shelter moratorium (extended to September 15, 2020); reports findings, reviews neighboring states' laws on storm shelter requirements, and makes four recommendations to be implemented prior to the moratorium being lifted.

Report required by Section 265.324 of H.B. 166, 133rd General Assembly; Department of Education and Department of Public Safety collaborated on the developing the purchasing program; presents the details of the plan including: criteria for distribution of funds, timeline and distribution of funds, and grant assurances and requirements.
2019 OHIO REMEDIATION REPORT, December 2019, 18 pages
Report required by R.C. 3333.041 and 3345.061; identifies the numbers and percentages of first time Ohio high school graduates enrolled in remedial mathematics and English at Ohio's state-assisted colleges and universities; notes new to the report this year is the inclusion of enrollment numbers and remediation rates disaggregated by race and ethnicity and by economic status that reveals remediation rates for minorities and economically disadvantaged (Pell-eligible) students are declining, but are still higher than their counterparts; provides data at the school district and high school level for 2018 spring graduates; data can be viewed at https://www.ohiohighered.org/data-reports/college-readiness.
