Section 101.68(B) of the Revised Code requires that when reports must be submitted to the General Assembly, copies of the reports must be submitted to the Director of the Legislative Service Commission (LSC). Section 101.68(C) requires LSC to monthly inform each member of the General Assembly of the reports received. Below is the annotated bibliography of reports recently submitted to LSC. The bibliography, compiled by the LSC Library staff, also includes other documents that may be of interest to legislators. Report required by R.C. 4928.64; addresses compliance activities in meeting benchmarks for renewable energy resources, solar, and nonsolar, describes the average annual renewable energy credits costs purchased by utilities and companies, and describes reported strategies for utility and company compliance or activities to encourage the use of renewable energy resources to satisfy the state's electricity demand. Prior to the 2020 compliance year, Ohio's Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) included a specific annual solar requirement. That solar requirement has since been eliminated, but solar resources still can be applied to the overall renewable requirement.
