Section 101.68(B) of the Revised Code requires that when reports must be submitted to the General Assembly, copies of the reports must be submitted to the Director of the Legislative Service Commission (LSC). Section 101.68(C) requires LSC to monthly inform each member of the General Assembly of the reports received. Below is the annotated bibliography of reports recently submitted to LSC. The bibliography, compiled by the LSC Library staff, also includes other documents that may be of interest to legislators. PERFORMANCE FOR THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR, November 16, 2021, 6 pages
Required by H.B. 525 of the 129th General Assembly (2011-2012); explains that the usual report relies on state assessments that were not given in the past two years due to COVID-19; for available metrics, reports a large decrease in its Performance Index score from the 2019 school year to the 2021 school year, a decrease in preschool enrollment, and drops in the number of students taking the SAT and scoring at the remediation-free level; also adds that the graduation rate is 80.9%.
