Ohio Constitutional Revision Commission Reports 1970 - 1977
The General Assembly created the Ohio Constitutional Revision Commission with the passage in 1969 of Am. Sub. H.B. 240 of the 108th General Assembly. The legislation charged the Commission with these specific duties:
- Studying the Constitution of Ohio;
- Promoting an exchange of experiences and suggestions respecting desired changes in the Constitution;
- Considering the problems pertaining to the amendment of the Constitution;
- Making recommendations from time to time to the General Assembly for the amendment of the Constitution.
The reports, from the LSC Library collection, were scanned to provide current legislators easier access to the work of the Commission.
