Section 101.68(B) of the Revised Code requires that when reports must be submitted to the General Assembly, copies of the reports must be submitted to the Director of the Legislative Service Commission (LSC). Section 101.68(C) requires LSC to monthly inform each member of the General Assembly of the reports received. Below is the annotated bibliography of reports recently submitted to LSC. The bibliography, compiled by the LSC Library staff, also includes other documents that may be of interest to legislators. Created by Executive Order 2019-25D; the Working Group on Post-Release Control was tasked with examining policies and procedures surrounding post-release control supervision; report contains six recommendations addressing the role of halfway houses in community supervision: prioritizing expansion of residential services, support and promotion of evaluations of community corrections programs, further examination of the "Truth in Sentencing" framework, inclusion of incentives for incarcerated people to use rehabilitation programs in changes to the felony sentencing structure, and making changes to legislation more responsive to concerns of victims and survivors.

Committee created by H.B. 110-134th General Assembly; outlines ten recommendations for developing a state plan for computer science education for primary and secondary education: create an Office of Computer Science Education (OCSE), 1% funding investment in computer science, establish computer science as a graduation requirement by 2030, create "Ohio's Computer Science Promise to Students," establish an "Ohio Computer Science Council" for afterschool/summer programs, rethink teacher licensure and professional development, start identifying computer science education goals by consulting industry, provide individual district supports and grants, launch a "Computer Science for Ohio" marketing campaign, and provide career paths tools and examples for students; includes labor industry statistics and computer science education initiatives in other states.
