Qualifications
7 trustees if district is made up of 1 or more school districts and if more than one-half of the territory of each school district is in same county. 9 trustees otherwise.
If 7 trustees: 2 appointed by Governor with advice and consent of Senate (not more than one can be an employee of a governmental agency), and 5 appointed by presidents of city and exempted village boards of education and governing boards of educational service centers within technical college district at a caucus of the presidents (not more than two can be employees of a governmental agency). Qualified electors residing in the technical college district and not employees of the college.
