Qualifications
The Director of Developmental Disabilities or the Director's designee; one member of the House of Representatives appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives; one member of the Senate appointed by the President of the Senate; one member appointed by the Governor who is a representative of an intellectual or developmental disability advocacy organization; one member appointed by the Governor who is a representative of a service provider for individuals with disabilities; one member appointed by the Governor who is the parent of a child with a disability and who has significant experience with disability issues; one member appointed by the Governor who is a person with a disability and who has significant experience with disability issues; two members appointed by the Governor who have significant experience in finance, accounting, investment management, or other areas that may assist the board in carrying out its duties.
