Chief Justice of the Supreme Court appoints 3 retired justices or judges of a court of record not sooner than 14 days after Chief Justice receives a request from the Attorney General or a prosecuting attorney to appoint special commission to consider suspension of a local government elected official charged with a felony. At least 1 member must be of the same political party as the public official in question.
