Radiation Advisory Council
Governor appoints: (1) a medical radiation physicist, (2) a health physicist, (3) a licensed doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy with ability and credentials in the practice of radiology, (4) a licensed dentist, (5) a licensed doctor of medicine with recognized ability in nuclear medicine, (6) an expert in public health or environmental science, (7) a licensed podiatrist, (8) a licensed chiropractor, (9) a radiation safety officer or radiation protection manager from a facility licensed for the use of radiation materials, (10) a person with credentials in the field of radon measurement, mitigation, or health risk management, (11) a member of a statewide consumer or environmental advocacy organization, (12) an individual who represents the public, and (13) an individual who has ability in the administration and enforcement of federal radiation protection regulations, who is a nonvoting member.
