Board must elect or appoint a chairperson annually from its members.	The licensing functions of the Board are scheduled to expire under R.C. 101.62 on 12/31/2024.

Qualifications
4 professional engineers and 1 professional surveyor, all of whom must be U.S. citizens and Ohio residents who have been engaged in practice of their respective profession for at least 12 years and have been in charge, respectively, of important engineering or surveying work for at least five years. At least 1 professional engineer also must be a professional surveyor. No member may serve more than two consecutive terms.
