Qualifications
Director of Rehabilitation and Correction, in consultation with the Governor, appoints 1 member who is a victim of crime, a member of a victim's family, or a representative of an organization that advocates for the rights of crime victims, and who, after appointment, is to be an unclassified employee of the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. Remaining members are classified employees of the Department. All members must be qualified by education or experience in law, social work, or correctional work (including law enforcement, prosecution of offenses, advocating for the rights of victims of crime, probation, or parole), or a combination of these categories.
