Qualifications
Governor appoints, with the advice of the Superintendent of Insurance, 5 insurers licensed to write and writing liability insurance in Ohio, at least 2 of whom write medical liability insurance in Ohio; 1 licensed physician; 1 representative of a hospital operating in Ohio; 1 insurance agent licensed to write and writing medical liability insurance in Ohio; and 1 person to represent consumer interests who cannot be a member of or associated with an insurance company or health insuring corporation. Directors of the Stabilization Reserve Fund are ex officio members.
