3 appointed by Governor: 1 who, because of previous vocation, affiliation, or employment, can be classed as a representative of employers, 1 who, because of previous vocation, affiliation, or employment, can be classed as a representative of employees, and 1 to represent the public. Members must be appointed from the list of names submitted by the Industrial Commission Nominating Committee. Members must be individuals possessing 6 years or more of recognized expertise in the field of workers' compensation. Members may hold no other position of trust or profit, engage in any other occupation or business, or serve on any political party committee. At least 1 member must be an attorney. Each member must give bond in the amount of $50,000. Not more than 2 from the same political party. May not serve more than 2 terms. |
