Governor appoints 5 members, all of whom must be persons with knowledge of Ohio history, architecture, decorative arts, or historic preservation, and 1 of whom must have knowledge of landscape architecture, garden design, horticulture, and plants native to Ohio. The other members: 1 member represents the Columbus Landmarks Foundation, 1 member is the Mayor of Bexley, 1 member is the chief executive officer of the Franklin Park Conservatory Joint Recreation District, and 1 member represents the Bexley Historical Society. Director of Administrative Services and Director of Ohio Historical Society, or their designees, are members.
