Qualifications
4 appointed by Governor with advice and consent of Senate: 3 who are not a salaried employee, director, officer, agent, or substantial shareholder of an insurance company (not more than 2 of these three members may be mambers of same political party), and 1 who is a licensed agent writing basic property insurance for more than one insurer; and 8 representatives of member companies of the Association, at least 5 of whom are Ohio domiciled members, elected annually by accumulated voting at a meeting of the members of the Association. Not more than one insurer in a group under the same management or ownership can serve on the Board at one time.
