9 appointed by Governor with advice and consent of Senate, including at least 3 members who receive their major income from farming and at least 1 member who is on the board of directors of an agricultural society. Not more than 5 from the same political party. Ex officio: Directors of Development, Natural Resources, and Agriculture or designees, and the Dean of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences of The Ohio State University. Chairpersons of the standing House and Senate committees to which agricultural matters are generally referred are nonvoting members.
