Qualifications
The Directors of Rehabilitation and Correction, Aging, Mental Health and Addiction Services, Commerce, Development Services, Health, Job and Family Services, Developmental Disabilities, Public Safety, Youth Services and Veterans Services; the Executive Director of the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities Agency; a representative of one member of the Governor's staff; an ex-offender appointed by the Director of Rehabilitation and Correction; the Superintendent of Public Instruction; and the Chancellor of the Board of Regents, or their designees, are members. Chair of the Coalition appoints the executive director of a health care licensing board created under Revised Code Title 47. Two members of the House of Representatives appointed by the Speaker, one of whom must be the chairperson of the standing committee in the House that primarily addresses criminal justice matters and the other of whom must be a member of the minority party in the House; Two members of the Senate appointed by the President, one of whom must be the chairperson of the standing committee in the Senate that primarily addresses criminal justice matters and the other whom must be a member of the minority party in the Senate.
