Qualifications
Governor appoints 1 member who is superintendent of a school district that has a high concentration of military families, 1 member to represent a military installation located in Ohio, and 1 member to represent the Governor's office. House Speaker and House Minority Leader each appoint 1 House member, and Senate President and Senate Minority Leader each appoint 1 Senate member. The Superintendent of Public Instruction or the Superintendent's designee, Director of Veterans Services or the Director's designee, Compact Commissioner, and Military Family Education Liaison are members. The legislative members, Compact Commissioner, and Military Family Education Liaison are nonvoting members. Voting members may appoint additional nonvoting members.
