42 U.S.C. 9837b requires that a State Advisory Council on Early Childhood Education and Care for Children include, to the maximum extent possible, the State Director of Head Start Coordination and 1 representative of each of the following: (1) the state agency responsible for child care, (2) the state educational agency, (3) local educational agencies, (4) state institutions of higher education, (5) local providers of early childhood education and development services, (6) Head Start agencies located in Ohio, including migrant and seasonal Head Start programs and Indian Head Start programs, (7) the state agency responsible for programs under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, (8) the state agency responsible for health or mental health care, and (9) other entities that the Governor determines to be relevant.
