Governor appoints 7 members: 1 to represent counties, 1 to represent townships, 1 to represent municipal corporations, 2 to represent business and development, and 2 to represent statewide environmental advocacy groups. These appointees must reflect the demographic and economic diversity of the state's population. House Speaker appoints 1 House member from the majority party and 1 House member from the minority party. Senate President appoints 1 Senate member from the majority party and 1 Senate member from the minority party. The Directors of Development, and Environmental Protection or their designees, the Lieutenant Governor or designee, and the Director of the Ohio Public Works Commission are members. The Director of the Ohio Public Works Commission is a nonvoting member. |
