Qualifications
Governor appoints 11 members with the advice and consent of the Senate. At least 5 nonstudents must be residents of Cincinnati. No reappointments after serving a full 9-year term or more than 6 years of a 9-year term, until 4 years have elapsed since the last day of the term in which the trustee previously served. 2 members must be University of Cincinnati students and are nonvoting. Student members are not considered in determining quorum and are not entitled to attend executive sessions. Student members are appointed from a group of 5 candidates selected pursuant to a procedure adopted by the university's student governments and approved by the Board.
