Additional Information
Councils are established at least once every 4 years and expire as reports are submitted. Sunset Review law does not contemplate temporary councils that reoccur. A council would expire under Sunset Review law based on its date of creation as specified in R.C. 101.83(A).
Qualifications
Department of Job and Family Services appoints child support obligors and obligees, judges of courts of common pleas with jurisdiction over domestic relations cases and juvenile cases that involve the determination of child support, attorneys whose practice includes a significant number of domestic relations cases and juvenile cases that involve the determination of child support, representatives of child support enforcement agencies, and others interested in the welfare of children.
