Qualifications
Governor appoints 11 members with the advice and consent of the Senate. No reappointment after serving a full 9-year term or more than 6 years of a 9-year term, until 4 years have elapsed since the last day of the term for which the trustee previously served. 2 members must be Central State students and are nonvoting. Student members are not considered in determining quorum and are not entitled to attend executive sessions. Student members are appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, from a group of 5 candidates selected by a procedure adopted by the student governments and approved by the Board.
