Qualifications
11 members appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. No reappointment after serving a full 9-year term or more than 6 years of a 9-year term, until 4 years have elapsed since the last day of the term for which the trustee previously served. 2 members must be BGSU students, who are nonvoting (must be appointed by the Governor from a group of 5 candidates selected pursuant to a procedure adopted by BGSU's student governments and approved by the Board). Student members are not considered in determining if a quorum is present. Student members are not entitled to attend executive sessions of the Board.
