Qualifications

Governor appoints 5 members with the advice and consent of the Senate. 4 members must have at least 5 years residence and at least 5 years experience as auctioneer, and 1 member must have at least 5 years residence, represent consumer interests, and have no connection with the auctioneering profession. Not more than 3 from the same political party. Members appointed to a term commencing on or after 10/10/05 cannot serve more than 3 consecutive terms.
