Qualifications
State Council for Interstate Adult Offender Supervision for each state that is a compact member appoints commissioners. Commission must also include individuals who are not commissioners but who are members of interested organizations, including a member of the national organizations of governors, legislators, state chief justices, attorneys general, and crime victims. These non-commissioner members are nonvoting members. Commission may provide in its bylaws for additional ex-officio nonvoting members. Ohio's Compact Administrator, or the Administrator's designee, serves as Ohio's representative to the Commission.
